Your responsibilities and tasks:
We are looking for a Senior Director Sustainability (f/m/d) within the HRT (Heating and Refrigeration Technologies) division. In this role you will act as the main driver of implementing GEA's Sustainability Strategy within the HRT division.
Responsibilities:
Translate GEA’s sustainability strategy into divisional and business unit concepts and initiatives contributing to GEA’s groupwide sustainability target achievements
Steer and monitor sustainability objective achievement of divisional concepts and initiatives
Facilitate alignment and collaboration across GEA, the division, business unit, regions and countries
Ensure reporting requirements of the corporate Sustainability central organization are met in close alignment with relevant stakeholders
Your profile and qualifications:
University degree in Business administration or mechanical engineering – or the equivalent by experience
Additional qualification in sustainability management / engineering is of advantage
Relevant professional experience (5-8 years)
Fluently spoken and written in German and English
Strong intrinsic motivation to lead divisional transformation of sustainability
Analytical thinking skills, sound problem-solving skills, process-oriented thinking, assertive and hands-on
Willingness to develop professionally as part of an interdisciplinary team and to jointly drive change and transformation
Demonstrated entrepreneurial, social and intercultural skills, ability to work in project and matrix settings
