Reacton Fire Suppression is an innovating leading manufacturer of small space and vehicle fire detection/protection and suppression systems. We are looking for a motivated experienced individual to take control of the procurement and purchasing side of the business and strive to improve the processes and quality by cooperating with the senior management team and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
· Researching, selecting, and purchasing quality products and materials
· Perform supplier evaluation and audits in conjunction with the Quality Department
· Building relationships with suppliers and negotiating with them to gain the most favourable price, quality, quantities, and delivery times.
· Working closely with suppliers to solve supply chain issues.
· Collecting and analysing sales data to help forecast purchasing trends.
· Management of documents such as supplier service level agreements and/or supplier audits
· Processing purchase requisition requests and updating management on the status of orders.
· Updating inventory in Sage 200 and managing stock levels.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within a procurement/purchasing/buying department, with a proven record of minimising product cost whilst retaining quality. They will have a good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and ERP software, have the ability to multi-task to meet strict deadlines and possess excellent communication skills.
